it still sounds too much like a michael solo album than a hanoi rocks album. i'll still pick it up though, just not really expecting as much from it now.

i really liked his nights are so long album but that's about it as far as solo stuff is concerned. each album after that maybe had one or two strong tracks on it (IMHO) but that was it. to me they sounded too run of the mill, just like everything else out there at the time.

i really like demolition 23 and the demo version of jerusalem slim isn't bad.

i think andy's post hanoi work is stronger. building on tradition could easily have been hanoi's next album.

in all honesty, if i wasn't a hanoi rocks addict i wouldn't be a michael fan.

I think it has more "Hanoi" flavor to it than the last one, and Mike sounds like Mike from Hanoi days on more tracks it seems. As long as we get a minimum of Punk-Mike, I will be that much happier. I know, they recorded this with me in mind, so I am expecting it to be exactly what I am hoping for.

Really dumb titles though. "Talk to the hand", "Reggae Rocker"...please. [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img] We need a song with ".com" in the title to make it REAL hip, cool, and modern.
